Of course, the first question about container gardening is where I start my garden? That’s the beauty of this style of gardening. Even if you think you do not have the space, you will be surprised how really tough plants and can grow anywhere. Look around outside your environment. Do you live in an apartment or maybe a mobile home, where space is very limited? Well, say you have an apartment with a small balcony, which would be an ideal area for a container garden. Who says you need acres of land and farm machinery to enjoy fresh vegetables, fresh herbs and beautiful flowers? A balcony garden could become a very colorful and attractive, with a few lines. These gardens are attractive and inexpensive. You can buy window boxes of their containers. Maybe you have one vegetable, herbs and flowers in one color on another. This would require little space and the results are transformed in the area. There’s something about live plants growing which is very quiet and relaxing. You could add a small fountain in the corner and perhaps a comfortable chair or two. What is a large private oasis could be created for himself. This same idea could be used in a porch or concrete slab. Look at these gray areas everyone is around and try to imagine what could be. The possibilities are endless! And so are the benefits. Who does not like vegetables or flowers and you might have to just get out. And if that does not work for you, what happens inside a container garden? Window boxes can be placed inside as well and make very attractive herb or flower gardens. With low-cost materials and a little research can bring the outdoors inside! Consult a local gardener, they will know what plant will do well in their specific environment, whether indoors or out. Or course you can always do both and have the beauty of container gardens year round. I hope this has inspired you and given you some ideas on how to start your own container garden. Why not surround yourself with health benefits and beauty of live plants. I know it will improve their environment and once you start you will enjoy the entire process of creating your garden.
